This policy explains what information LeagueTen LLC ("LeagueTen," "we") collects, how we use it and who can see it. It applies to leagueten.com and our emails.
1. What we collect
You give us:
- Account details: first and last name, email, password, phone number, home ZIP code.
- Playing details: your singles and doubles levels, DUPR rating if you enter one, your level quiz answers, home court, play style and usual play times.
- Season details: the seasons and divisions you join, your doubles partner, match bookings, scores, messages to opponents and partner search listings.
- Your answer to "How did you hear about us?" and who referred you, if anyone.
- Your choices about marketing emails, saved with the date and the wording you agreed to.
- A profile photo, if you add one.
When you pay: Stripe processes your payment. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount, and limited details such as the card type and last four digits. We never see or store your full card number.
Automatically: basic technical information such as your device, browser and pages visited, and the ad or link that brought you to the site (for example, "utm" tags in the link).
2. How we use it
- To run the league: place you in a division, build schedules, match you with opponents, record scores and standings, and run playoffs.
- To send emails you need to play (confirmations, receipts, schedules, match and score notices) and, only if you opt in, news and offers.
- To process payments, refunds and credits.
- To keep the league safe and fair, including handling reports and enforcing our Terms.
- To understand which ads and channels bring players, and improve the site.
3. Who can see your information
- The public (not signed in): no personal information. Only season details and how many players are in a division.
- Other members: your name as first name and last initial, profile photo, area, levels, season record and standings. If you post a partner search listing, signed-in members can see it, with your usual play times. Listings are hidden once you're on a team or registration closes.
- Your current opponents and doubles partner: also your phone number and email, so you can set up matches. They can't see them after the season ends.
- LeagueTen admins: everything in your account, to run the league.
Your ZIP code, DUPR details, quiz answers, "How did you hear" answer and payment details are never shown to other players.
4. Service providers
We use trusted companies to run LeagueTen. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- Lovable, which hosts the site and its database;
- Stripe, for payments;
- Resend and Google Workspace, to send and receive email;
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, for advertising and measuring ads (see section 5).
We don't sell your personal information. We may share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of selling or transferring the business.
5. Cookies and ad measurement
Our site uses the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API, and the Google tag, to see which ads lead to sign-ups and payments. These tools use cookies and similar technology, and we may send Meta and Google limited details such as the fact that you signed up or paid, and your email or phone in a scrambled (hashed) form so they can match it to an ad. You can limit ad tracking in your browser or phone settings, and in your Facebook, Instagram and Google ad settings.
6. Your email choices
Emails about your account and matches go to every player. News and offers go only to players who opt in. You can unsubscribe from news and offers at any time with the link in any of those emails or in your profile.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open, and season records (results, standings and payments) for as long as we need them for the league's history, taxes and accounting. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
8. Your choices and rights
You can see and update most of your information in your profile. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing support@leagueten.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including access rules that keep each player's private details visible only to the people listed in section 3. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
10. Age
LeagueTen is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it.
11. Changes
We'll post any update here with its date and, for important changes, email players.
